Heat Transfer

Well, the examiners totally made up for yesterdays paper. Never saw so much theory in such a problem oriented paper ( 50% theory). And the problems were of really good quality! Perhaps if they had given enough time to think students would have fared better. Heat transfer does come to one as a subject with few basics but lot of complications. Any given problem can be made as tough and challenging with introduction of just one additional parameter!

Coming back to today’s paper, to be honest, it was one of those papers that if you were really well prepared and the problems ‘clicked’ you could score full marks! With really good performance in the previous test and overall hard work in the two brilliant assignments i had hoped so… But Q 1b did not click with just 10 min on the clock, and once i had chosen the lengthier of two ways to solve it, i was doomed! Anyways, i have given worse papers and with around 20 marks in todays paper i will really have to put my head down and get going for the next one… No excuses here, just determination!
